Staff Survey | Employee Culture Survey and consulting

Creating a culture of continuous improvement starts with assessing the culture of your organisation.

We offer two culture surveys: the Organisation Alignment Survey and the Employee Opinion Survey.

Organisation Alignment Survey

With our Organisation Alignment Survey we can help you understand how your employees work at an operational, strategic and leadership level. We can analyse cultural factors to help you understand current leadership behaviours and those needed for improving culture and future organisational growth.

Your employees will respond to 120 survey statements online. Paper versions are also available. You will work with one of our registered psychologists to get the most out of your results.

"Insync Surveys helped identify areas where the behaviours of groups of staff weren't aligned with the aspirations of the College. We've put in place programs to ensure we retain our high performers who were previously frustrated by non-aligned colleagues with whom we work to enhance their cultural fit."

Dr David Warner, CEO/Principal, ELTHAM College of Education

Employee survey

The employee survey offers an assessment of your organisation's current cultural landscape by measuring employee engagement. Action may then be taken to bridge the gap between current and future skill sets within your cultural framework.

Your employees will respond to over 50 survey statements online. Paper versions are also available. You will work with one of our registered psychologists or research experts to get the most out of your results.

"We had a culture of staff thinking that things are done by someone else, rather than everyone having the ability to control things and contribute.

"For me our journey has been a matter of understanding what's happening and our survey work has been important for this.

"We now have good levels of staff ownership. This is encouraged through recognition and rewards and creating more opportunities for interacting and cooperating across work areas..."

Rosanne Kava, CEO, Gannawarra Shire Council

For both of our employee surveys, your results can be used as a measure for future cultural reviews and surveys. This allows you to track improvements over time.

Other Insync Surveys tools organisations use to measure and improve their culture:

Why undertake a culture survey?

"The bottom line for leaders is that if they do not become conscious of the cultures in which they are embedded, those cultures will manage them."

Ed Schein

According to a KPMG study, "83% of all mergers and acquisitions failed to produce any benefit for the shareholders and over half actually destroyed value". Interviews of over 100 senior executives involved in these 700 deals over a two-year period revealed that the overwhelming cause for failure is "the people and the cultural differences". In light of this statement, changes to your environment offer a great opportunity to shape organisational behaviour through culture assessment and continuous improvement.

In over 20 years of working with organisations, both locally and globally, Insync Surveys has found that organisations achieve sustainable organisational performance when their vision, mission, strategy, culture and people are aligned.

We can help you improve organisational culture, the lives of your employees and your organisation's success.
